The Orthodox Christian faith is at the heart of the Camp Good Shepherd
program. Each day begins and ends at the chapel, with morning and
evening prayers. Our curriculum each year follows a different theme,
and each day campers have engaging Orthodox Life sessions to discuss
that day's theme. Campers have the chance to experience the healing
mystery of Holy Confession and each week we celebrate the Divine
Liturgy.

Daily life at Camp Good Shepherd includes many traditional summer camp
activities depending on the location: kayaking and canoeing, zipline,
archery, swimming, ropes courses, and team-building activities. At
each of our three locations, campers also can choose daily sessions
like Arts and Crafts, Athletics, Byzantine Music, and Greek Dancing.
Evening activities are led by our talented counseling staff, and
devotionals with our cabins conclude each day.

The overall goal of Camp is to give our campers a taste of living
actively their Orthodox Christian faith, to connect them to Christ and
His Church, and to offer them the chance to develop lasting
relationships with peers their own age.
